We speak to the teenager who's been taking North American Jumping by storm!

Brian Moggre is the hottest property in world Jumping at the moment having already won two Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ shows this year.

The Texan was just 17 when he beat an impressive field to score victory at Ocala in March, and built on that at the grand old age of 18 with a superb performance in Lexington in early November.

On board MTM Vivre le Reve - a wonderful 10-year-old German-bred Westphalian gelding - he looks certain to qualify for this season's Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ in Las Vegas as he currently heads the North American Eastern Sub-League with legend Beezie Madden just behind him in the rankings.

We caught up with him and chatted about his goals, his advice to other young riders and more!

Tell us about that fabulous win at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ show in Lexington!

Brian Moggre: "It was pretty shocking, to say the least – I know Erkel [MTM Vivre Le Reve] well, he’s a great partner of mine, but, you know, we went to Washington and he was good there.  We didn't quite get the results that we had hoped for. I didn't know what to expect going into Kentucky and he performed amazingly and the result was incredible – I couldn't be happier about it!"

What were your expectations going into the class?

Brian: "I didn't really know what to expect. I've been doing a few of the World Cup qualifiers throughout the year so I wasn’t sure how they were going to turn out or how big it was going to be. When I walked the course, I actually thought it was quite large and technical, so that I had quite a bit of nerves. But I trust that horse so much and he really had my back that day – I’m very grateful Kentucky went as well as it did. I’m also eternally grateful to my parents and support team, without them it wouldn’t be possible!"
